Recipe

  • Upright position with paper filter

  • 15g coffee

  • 250ml water at 85 degree celcius

  • Grind no. 4 on a Mahlkonig EK43 grinder

Method

  1. Rinse through and preheat sever

  2. Pour 50ml water for a 30sec bloom

  3. Slowly add 250ml water making sure to hit all grounds

  4. Attach plunger and brew for 1min 30sec

  5. Remove plunger, break crust and give gentle agitation

  6. Plunge for 40sec

French Press

Recipe

  • 45g Coffee

  • 750ml water at 94 degree celcius

  • Course grind size. This helps reduce the sludge at the bottom.

Method

  1. Rinse and preheat sever

  2. Pour 80ml water for a 30sec bloom and stir

  3. Pour your remaining 670ml of water and pop the plunger on

  4. Leave it to brew for around 7mins

  5. Remove plunger and give the floating grounds a stir

  6. Slowly Plunge and enjoy!
